Indiana Mad Ants acquire rights to Craig Sword in trade with Capital City

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 12, 2023) – The Indiana Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, have made a trade with the Capital City Go-Go.
The Mad Ants acquire the returning player rights to veteran Craig Sword in the trade. In exchange, the Mad Ants send their own 2024 NBA G League Draft first round pick to Capital City.
Sword spent last season with the Capital City Go-Go, averaging 7.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in the regular season.
Sword played in the 2023 NBA Summer League with the Golden State Warriors.
Sword also spent time with the Go-Go during the 2021-2022 season and also has spent time in the G League with the Grand Rapids Drive and Erie Bayhawks. Sword last played earlier this year with the Spartans District Capital of the Venezuelan League.
Sword has spent three games in the NBA with the Washington Wizards on a 10-day contract during the 2021-22 season, where he averaged two points per game over 6.3 minutes per contest.
