Tim Bawmann
Bawmann joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment in 2016 as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Team President following a 28- year stint in Minor League Baseball. In Bawmann’s six seasons running the Mad Ants, the team has won two Social Responsibility awards from the NBA G League and sold out their first game in franchise history which now stands at six. He was the President and General Manager of the Lowell Spinners (New York Penn League) a Boston Red Sox affiliate and won three World Series rings during his time there. The Spinners set a then MiLB short season record of 10-years of consecutive sellouts and won numerous awards while receiving national recognition for their out of the box promotions. He was named the New York Penn League Executive of the Year in 2009 at the Baseball Winter Meetings held in Indianapolis. His other MiLB stops include: Houston Astros/Kissimmee Cobras (1989-1995), Quad City River Bandits (1999-2003) and the Montreal Expos/Brevard County Manatees (2003).
Bawmann is most passionate about giving back to the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Renaissance Pointe YMCA and Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.
The Bawmann bunch includes his wife Kelley who is the Director of Development/Volunteer Engagement at Associated Churches, daughter Chloe and son-in-law Evan Bollier who own Paradise Parcels in St. Petersburg, Florida and son Elijah who is a software engineer at Sweetwater.
