Mad Ants acquire rights to Cameron McGriff in a trade with Memphis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – March 5, 2024 – The Indiana Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, have acquired the player rights of Cameron McGriff in a trade with the Memphis Hustle.
In return for McGriff’s rights, the Indiana Mad Ants have agreed to send their own 2025 1st round pick in the NBA G League Draft to Memphis.
In 20 games this regular season with Memphis, McGriff is averaging 12.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
Prior to this season, McGriff spent time in Puerto Rico, Greece and France during the 2022-2023 season. In 2021-22, McGriff averaged 12.3 points in 29 games with the Greensboro Swarm. On December 25, 2021, McGriff signed a 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers via the hardship exception. He appeared in three games for the Trail Blazers, averaging 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
After graduating from Oklahoma State in 2020, McGriff began his career in Belgium.
In Indiana, McGriff will wear the number 8.
