INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – FEBRUARY 23, 2024 – Indiana Mad Ants guard Kyle Mangas has been selected to participate in the NBA G League's Up Next games as a replacement player during All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, the league announced Monday.

28 total players will participate, drafted by social media influencer general managers. Mangas will join teammates Oscar Tshiebwe and Isaiah Wong in participating in the Up Next games, while Mad Ants head coach Tom Hankins and assistants Justin Wetzel, Bryce Taylor and Rob Dosier will each lead one of the four teams.

Mangas is a native of Warsaw, Indiana and played in college at Indiana Wesleyan, giving arguably the strongest local ties for any player participating in NBA or G League activities during the Indianapolis All-Star weekend.

During the regular season, Mangas is averaging a team third best 18.1 points per game and is coming off a 30 point outing last Friday at Stockton. Mangas also averages 2.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while shooting a league third best 93.5 percent from the free throw line.

Mangas also leads the Mad Ants in three pointers with 48 makes.
