Acquired: Selected by Mad Ants in 2nd round of 2024 G League Draft 

Ishmael Lane played his first G League season in 2024-25 after playing overseas since 2019. Lane appeared in 38 games for the Mad Ants and often served as a key role player for the club. 

The Louisiana native found some hot streaks throughout the season. He recorded three double-doubles in a four-game stretch from November 30th to December 9th. Lane added four more double-doubles during the regular season portion of the schedule. 

His crowning achievement of the year came on January 12th against the Long Island Nets. Lane went nuclear with 28 points on 10-10 shooting and 4-4 from the free throw line. He also filled up the box score with nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and a blocked shot. 

In 15 games during the Tip-off Tournament, he averaged 7.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Lane averaged 8.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 23 regular season games. The big man scored two points in a short time during the first-round playoff game against Greensboro.
