Enrique Freeman did not make his G League debut until December at the Winter Showcase in Orlando, Florida. The 2024 2nd round draft pick wound up appearing in 16 combined games for the Mad Ants with 14 of those coming in the regular season.
When in the lineup, Freeman consistently made an impact. The first-year pro recorded six double-doubles and averaged 10.0 rebounds per game with the Mad Ants. He also averaged 16.9 points per game.
The Akron alum grabbed nine or more rebounds in 11 consecutive games spanning from January 14th to March 27th. During that stretch, he recorded double-digit rebounds six straight games from February 24th to March 24th.
On January 7th, his first game of the regular season, Freeman scored 27 points while shooting 11-15 from the field. He posted a career-best 30-point performance on March 3rd against the Raptors 905. Freeman shot 14-19 from the field in that game while also grabbing 10 rebounds.
Freeman’s scoring was limited in the postseason, but he still found ways to impact the game. In the first-round win against Greensboro, he scored seven points while recording 12 rebounds. In the second-round matchup with Osceola, he scored eight points with nine rebounds and three assists.
