Overview: After becoming the third New Zealand born player to ever be picked in the NBA Draft (Sean Marks and Steven Adams), King joined the Mad Ants after spending the previous season in the NBA G League with the G League Ignite.

After injuries started his season, King made his Mad Ants debut on January 13 in Maine and played 15 games with the franchise this season. He averaged 3.9 points per game as he battled injuries throughout the season.

King returned from an injury on March 8 at Raptors 905 and had a season best performance with 19 points in 15 minutes, adding two blocks in his appearance.
