Acquired: Sword’s returning player rights were acquired on September 12, 2023 via trade with the Capital City Go-Go.

Overview: As an efficient member of the lineup, Sword joined the top 10 in Mad Ants history in two single season shooting categories. His .427 (44-103) shooting from three point range was the sixth best single season mark in franchise history and he also pulled in the fifth best single season field goal percentage in Mad Ants history at .570 while shooting 154-of-270.

‘Corner Craig’ was a spark from the three point line, hitting 44 shots. He also registered a team best 59 steals while appearing in 50 total games between Showcase, the regular season and the playoffs as just the 16th player in franchise history to appear in at least 50 total games in a season.

The Mad Ants went 10-2 in games that Sword started. He led the Mad Ants in scoring just once, with 17 in the second game of the season; a home opener against Windy City. He later scored a personal season high 20 points twice and recorded four blocks on January 24 against Capital City.

Notable Performances:

November 13, 2023: In the Mad Ants' home opener against Windy City, Sword led the team with 17 points, shooting 6-of-7 from the field and 3-of-3 from three point range.
January 20, 2024: Sword scored a season best 20 points for the second time as the Mad Ants won at Wisconsin. In the game, Sword shot 9-of-16 from the field and also recorded three steals.
