2023-24 Indiana Mad Ants schedule released

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 5, 2023) – The Indiana Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, have released their complete schedule for the 2023-2024 season. The Mad Ants will play their complete home schedule at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
All home evening games will begin at 6 p.m. During the course of the season, the Mad Ants will play six "double headers" with the Indiana Pacers. The Mad Ants will play those games on November 22, January 10, January 23, February 6, February 22 and March 18 with 12:30 afternoon start times. The Indiana Pacers will then play those evenings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Mad Ants will open home play on Monday, November 13 as part of a back to back days against the Windy City Bulls and Grand Rapids Gold as part of the Showcase Cup qualifying portion of the schedule. The Mad Ants will play 16 games as part of the Showcase Cup portion of the schedule to start the season. The Mad Ants will bookend the Thanksgiving holiday with a home game on Wednesday, November 22 against the Motor City Cruise and then will visit the Grand Rapids Gold on Saturday, November 25. The Mad Ants host four games in November.
The teams with the best winning-percentage in each of four regional pods after 14 games, along with the next four teams across the league with the best win-percentages, will advance to compete for the Showcase Cup in a single-elimination tournament during the NBA G League Winter Showcase, held this season from December 19 to 22. The teams that do not qualify for the tournament will still play two games at the Winter Showcase.
Following the NBA G League Winter Showcase, all records will reset for a 34 game regular season, starting for the Mad Ants on Wednesday, December 27 against the Memphis Hustle; this will be the third ever meeting with the Hustle. The Indiana Mad Ants will close 2023 with a 10 a.m. New Year's Eve contest against the Birmingham Squadron. The December 29 and 31 games will be the first ever between the Mad Ants and Squadron. The Mad Ants host six games in the month of December.
The Mad Ants will host eight games in the month of January, opening the month with January 2 and 4 games against the Santa Cruz Warriors, the same organization the Mad Ants played in each of their two league finals appearances.
In February, the Mad Ants will host two games before the NBA All-Star break and two after the break; on February 7, the team will host rival Cleveland Charge. The Mad Ants will also return to the West Coast in February with games at the Stockton Kings (February 9) and the G League Ignite (February 12/13). This will be the franchise's second ever trip to visit the Ignite, where the Mad Ants went 2-0 in 2023.
The Mad Ants will complete their home schedule with two games in March, squaring off against the College Park Skyhawks on March 12 and the reigning NBA G League champion Delaware Blue Coats on March 18.
