Justin Anderson
During the 2021-2022 season, Anderson was the first Call Up of a record setting season for Call Ups both for the NBA G League and the Mad Ants. Anderson's first call up came in December when he signed a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Anderson played three games with Cleveland, averaging 4.3 points per contest.
He signed his next 10-day contract on January 1, this time with the Indiana Pacers. He rejoined the Mad Ants after that contract and became an All-NBA G League First Team player and MVP candidate while leading the league in scoring. It earned him his third Call Up on March 17, again with the Indiana Pacers. The team extended his time with them on March 28 with another 10-day contract while on his third Call Up of the season.
With the Pacers, Anderson played in 13 games, starting six of them. He averaged 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and a NBA career best 2.1 assists.
At year's end, Anderson became the first Mad Ant Call Up since Jeremy Richardson in 2007-2008 to earn three Call Ups in the same season and to also earn Call Ups with multiple NBA teams in the same season.
