Charles Kissi joined the Mad Ants staff on September 15, 2021 as an assistant coach.
Prior to joining the Mad Ants, Kissi was the head coach and General Manager of the Guelph Nighthawks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Kissi brought two years of NBA G League experience to the Mad Ants after spending the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons as an assistant coach for Raptors 905. Prior to joining the G League, Kissi was the head men's basketball coach at Brock University for five years and the head women's basketball coach at Ryserson University for two years.
A native of Canada, Kissi attended McMaster University, where he also played basketball. After college, he spent 10 years as an officer with the Toronto Police Service, during which he began his coaching career as an assistant for the Ryerson women's team.
