Pacers assign Alize Johnson and transfer Edmond Sumner to Fort Wayne

November 7, 2018 – The Indiana Pacers announced today they have assigned forward Alize Johnson and transfered guard Edmond Sumner to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network.

Johnson has appeared in three games this season for the Pacers after being selected with the No. 50 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Sumner has appeared in five games this season with Pacers while on a two-way contract. Sumner appeared in 14 games during the 2017-18 season with Fort Wayne, averaging 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

The Mad Ants will hold practice on Thursday at the Coliseum beginning at noon. Media wishing to speak with players and coaches should arrive no later than 11:15 a.m.

The Mad Ants tip off the home schedule for the 2018-19 season this Friday against the Erie BayHawks. Fans wishing to purchase season tickets or mini plans ahead of the season may call the ticket office at 260-469-4667 for more information.
