FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today they have signed Fort Wayne Mad Ants guard Walt Lemon Jr. to a 10-day contract.
Lemon Jr. averaged 22.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.1 steals in 36 games this season.
The 6-foot-3 guard won NBA G League Player of the Month in November and started every game he played in this season.
Lemon Jr. tallied eight 30-point games this season, including 40 points in his last game with the Mad Ants in a 122-103 win at Maine on Feb. 10.
The Mad Ants take on the Wisconsin Herd tonight at 8 p.m. The game will be streamed on Facebook.
