October 8, 2018 – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, announced today the finalized additions to the basketball operations and front office staff.

Ben Resner joined the Mad Ants as the Video Coordinator in 2018 after spending the 2017-18 season as a member of the Greensboro Swarm coaching staff. His G League experience dates back to spending two additional seasons with the Canton Charge coaching staff, as well as serving in a support role with the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of winning a NBA title in 2016.

He served as the Head Coach for the Cape Breton Highlanders of the National Basketball League in Canada during the 2016-17 season. Resner also was involved with USA Basketball’s Support Staff assisting the Men’s National Team and the Men’s U17 World Cup Team. He played for Stony Brook University before graduating in 2014.

Will Dunn will serve as the Basketball Operations Intern for the 2018-19 season. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) in 2017. While a member of the UST men’s basketball team, Dunn proved to serve a pivotal role as the Tommies won its 11th consecutive MIAC title and its second national championship in six years.

After a year removed from his collegiate playing tenure, Dunn coached basketball at his high school alma mater in Minneapolis.

“The additions of Ben and Will continue the great lineage of coaches in Fort Wayne over the past several seasons,” Mad Ants General Manager Brian Levy said. “Both are dedicated and passionate about the game of basketball and helping our players improve. They will fit in very nicely with the staff we have returning.”

Headlined by multi-year contracts signed this offseason by Levy and Head Coach Steve Gansey, the Mad Ants will return assistant coaches Norm Richardson and Jhared Simpson for the 2018-19 season. This year will be Simpson’s third season in Fort Wayne, while Richardson will aid the Mad Ants for his second season.

Director of Basketball Operations, Chris Taylor, also returns for his second season in Fort Wayne.

Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jason Manikowski, will return for his fourth season. The 2018-19 season will be the third season for Head Physical Therapist, Collin Brown. Athletic Trainer, Dan Rosselli, will also return to Fort Wayne for his second season.

The Mad Ants also announced the following new titles and new business operations staff members: Matt Gassen (Account Executive), Jarrell Hunter (Account Executive), Allison Link (Account Executive), Brent O’Bold (Account Executive), Julie Rumschlag (Controller) and Bryan Stine (Senior VP of Sales Operations).

The Mad Ants tip off the 2018-19 season at home on Friday, Nov. 9 against the Erie BayHawks. Fans wishing to purchase season tickets or mini plans ahead of the season may call the ticket office at 260-469-4667 for more information. Single game tickets will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 26.
