FORT WAYNE, IN (March 10, 2015) –The Fort Wayne Mad Ants officially announce today that they have acquired former Atlantic-10 Player of the Year Jordan Crawford. Crawford, pending a physical, is scheduled to be in action with the team for their Saturday, March 14th match-up with the Delaware 87ers at the Coliseum.

Crawford spent his freshman year at Indiana University where he finished seventh among Big Ten freshman, averaging 9.7 points per game, helping IU to finish 25-8 and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. In his second year of collegiate basketball, Crawford led Xavier and the Atlantic-10 conference with his average of 20.5 points per game and by recording double figures in 31 straight games.  Crawford would be named the 2010 Atlantic-10 Player of the Year and helped lead the Musketeers to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.

Crawford was selected 27th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. He was later traded to the Atlanta Hawks, and, after one season with the Hawks, he was traded to the Washington Wizards.  With the Wizards, Crawford averaged double figures in points before being traded to the Boston Celtics.  Last season, Crawford played for the Golden State Warriors where he scored a career high 41 points against the Denver Nuggets.
