Anigbogu and Leaf to join Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Pacers announced today they have assigned center Ike Anigbogu and forward TJ Leaf to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network.

Leaf was selected with the 18th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of UCLA and has played in 25 of 29 games this season for Indiana. Leaf is averaging 3.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game and had a career-high 17 points in his second NBA regular season game against the Portland Trailblazers on Oct. 20.

The 19-year-old Anigbogu played four games with the Mad Ants this season averaging 8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 23.5 minutes per game. He has appeared in six games this season with the Pacers, amassing four points, four rebounds, one block, and one steal in 17 minutes of action.

Two-way player Edmond Sumner will also join the Mad Ants, while two-way player Alex Poythress is rejoining the Indiana Pacers.
