FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Pacers announced today they have assigned forward Glenn Robinson III and center Ike Anigbogu to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network.
Thursday will be Robinson’s first game this season after recovering from left ankle surgery. Robinson, the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk champion, averaged 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in over 20 minutes per game during the 2016-17 season with the Pacers. He will wear No. 25.
Robinson played one for game for the Mad Ants during the 2015-16 season, which was a double-double performance of 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 106-101 loss to the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Anigbogu is averaging 5.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 24.3 minutes per contest in 10 games this season with the Mad Ants. The rookie out of UCLA has appeared in 10 games this season with Indiana. He last played Jan. 18 in a 100-86 loss at Portland.
Today’s School Day Out game is sold out as the Mad Ants take on Wisconsin at 11 a.m. on Eleven Sports. The Mad Ants return to action on Saturday at home against Long Island at 7 p.m. on Facebook.
