The Fort Wayne Mad Ants players and coaches began the final week of training camp meeting with the media for the first official time before the 2017-18 season gets underway. With 15 players remaining on the training camp roster, media members talked with the hopefuls in search of taking the floor on Nov. 4 in Fort Wayne’s season debut at the Long Island Nets.
The Ash Centre, Fort Wayne’s scintillating practice facility, hosted the yearly event to discuss preparation for the upcoming season as well as the Mad Ants’ goal of returning to the postseason in 2018.
Head Coach Steve Gansey and General Manager Brian Levy shared what this roster currently embodies and some new changes to expect for the upcoming season.
One of the most talked about offseason topics surrounding the NBA G League has been the new Nike-branded uniforms for the 2017-18 season. Fort Wayne sported the white jerseys to debut to the public for the first time.
