Chris Taylor

On September 15, 2021, Taylor was promoted to become the third General Manager in organization history. In his first season as General Manager, Taylor's team had a franchise record for NBA Call Ups, including G League first round draft pick Gabe York, who was Taylor's first draft pick as General Manager.

Taylor joined Fort Wayne before the 2017-18 season as the Director of Basketball Operations after five years with the Indiana Pacers. Ahead of the 2019-20 season in Fort Wayne, Taylor earned a promotion to serve as the Assistant General Manager. While with the Pacers, Taylor began as a Basketball Operations Intern in 2012 and eventually earned a promotion as a Basketball Operations Coordinator. Hailing from Calais, Maine, Taylor’s professional background includes roles with the Maine Red Claws and the Boston Celtics. Taylor attended and played basketball under Head Coach Hank Smith at Emerson College in Boston.
